Admin Menu
Top Menu Bar - Click on a menu item name listed below to view detialed information on the selection.
- Dashboard
- This is where your Admin Home Page is located. Here you will find any messages sent by the system. If you have multiple sites within the system under the same user name you will also have the options of selecting what site you want to work with from this page.

- Write
- From this menu selection you have the ability to add post content to your site. For detailed information on using the editor follow this link.

- Manage
- From here you have access to manage all of your posts and comments. The sub menu is broken down into four (4) parts:
- Full Posts - This tab opens your post/page list with the content displayed. You have several options on this page that are not available from the Post List tab. You will see your blog content displayed in blocks. Each block holds information about the post/page.
- At the top of each block you will see an information bar that holds information about the post/page in two (2) sections.
- On the left you will find
- Post Date, Time and Authors Name on the first line
- The second line has the Post Type (Selected when you wrote the post/page)
- The third line holds the Categorie(s) the the post/page was published in
- On the right you will see
- The flag icon showing the country the post/page was created in on the first line
- The second line shows the status of the post/page (Visible, Draft, Hidden, etc.)
- On the third line you will see how many times the post/page has been viewed since it was published
- On the left you will find
- The second section is the content of your post/page
- The bottom bar holds seven (7) options for managing the post/page
- View - Click this button to view the post/page within your blog
- Files - This button opens the screen to show what files are linked to the post/page. You can also use this menu item to link files to your post/page. For more details on the File Manager follow this link.
- Edit - Click this button to open the Content Editor to make changes to the post/page
- The next button changes depending on the status of your post/page.
- If it is published the button will say "Unpublish". Click this if you want to unpublish your post/page.
- If it is in any other mode it will say "Publish". Click this if you want to publish your post/page.
- Delete - Click this button if you want to delete the post/page. This can not be undone once selected.
- The next button changes depending on if Comments are enabled for the post/page and if there are any comments posted on the post/page.
- If Comments are enabled and there have been Comments made on the post/page it will list the number of Comments for that post/page.
- If there are no Comments made yet or if Comments are disabled, it will say "No Comments".
- Permalink - This button will display the post/page within your blog. When you hover over the button you will see the Permalink URL in the status bar of your web browser usually located at the bottom of the screen.
- At the top of each block you will see an information bar that holds information about the post/page in two (2) sections.
- Post List - Shows the titles of all of the posts within your site.
- Tracker - Shows the task list.
- Comments - From here you can see all the comments made on your site. You can choose to publish, edit, or depricate (delete) each comment.

- My Profile
- This screen holds all of your personal and professional data. The sections that do not display on your site are noted at each field. There are a few fields that are required to provide. These include:
- Email Address
- First Name
- Last Name
- User Type
- State
- Zip Code
- Country
- From here you can choose what name you want displaying on your blog, your preferred contact email address, and many other options.

- Friends
- This option allows you to manage your Friends settings which include
- Friends List - View all of your friends that have been added.
- Pending Friend Requests - See who is asking to be added as a new friend.
- Invite Friends - Invite another user to become a friend.

- Messages
- From here you can administer your private message system.
- Inbox - Houses all of your incoming messages
- Outbox - Stores your sent messages
- Savebox - Stores all messages you have chosen to save
- Send Message - Write a message to someone in the Network

- From here you can administer your private message system.
- Leads
- This menu option shows all of the information saved from forms on your site. When somebody sigs up to receive an RSS Feed from your site or uses the built in CMA tool, their information is stored here.
- CMA - Holds all of the CMA form related information
- RSS2Email - Holds all of the RSS Subscription information for your blog

- This menu option shows all of the information saved from forms on your site. When somebody sigs up to receive an RSS Feed from your site or uses the built in CMA tool, their information is stored here.
- Blog Settings
- The Blog Settings menu item is where a majority of your blogs options are. This menu section is broken down into eleven (11) sub-categories which are all outlined below.
- General
- The General Parameters section is where you input the Full Name and Tagline of your blog. The Full Name is diplayed at the top of your blog on the title bar and the tagline can be added using the Blog Tagline widget.
- In the Meta Data section you can enter the Short Description, Keywords and any notes you may want to keep on your blog. The Short Description is used on meta tags and as the title of your RSS Feed when people subscribe to it. The Keywords field is used to construct meta tags when there is not enough information available for the system to create them.
- The Description area holds the Long Description field. This is an area for additional information about your blog and can be displayed on your blog by using the Long Description widget.
- After making any changes on this page, be sure to click the Save button at the bottom of the page or your changes will not be applied!
- Features
- The Feedback Options area has choices on how comments are displayed and handled on your blog -
- Comments - Choose if you want comments to be allowed always, on a per-post basis or disabled for your blog. The Default is per-post.
- Ratings - Select Always to turn on the post rating feature or Never to turn it off. Default is set to Never.
- Trackbacks - When this box is selected it allows other users to send trackback links to your blog. It also allows you to send trackback links for your blog to other blogs.
- New Feedback Status - Allows you to set how new comments on your blog are handled. Draft sets them to draft mode until you choose to publish, edit or delete them. Published lets people make comments that are immediately displayed on your blog. Depricated sets the comments to the depricated state until you choose to publish, edit or delete them.
- In the XML Feeds section you can choose how your RSS2Email Feeds are set up -
- Feed Contents -
- No Feeds - Turns off RSS/XML Feeds from your blog
- Titles Only - Sends only the title of your posts in the RSS Feed
- Post Excerpts - Sends a small snippet of each post in the Feed, up to the max number you have selected in the Posts in Feeds field
- Standard Post Contents - Displays your posts up to the post page break in the Feed. The page break feature is described in detail here
- Full Post Contents - Sends full posts in your RSS Feed including all of the content after the page break
- Posts in Feed - Allows you to set the number of posts that are sent in your RSS Feed to your subscribers

- Subscriptions -
- This box, when checked, allows users to subscribe to your RSS Feeds. When unchecked, users can not sign up to receive them
- Request Membership -
- This box, when checked, requires users of your blog to submit a request to become a member of your site. Unchecked will allow new users to automaticaly become members
- Friends System -
- When checked this will enable the Friends System. The Friends System is part of our Social Network system which allows you to add friends, send instant messages to other users and much more.
- After making any changes on this page, be sure to click the Save button to apply your new settings
- The Feedback Options area has choices on how comments are displayed and handled on your blog -
- Advanced
- The Advanced menu option holds settings for some of your site SEO functions. There are checkboxes to allow you to ping different social media services. These include Google Blogs, Google, Ping-O-Matic and Twitter.
- SEO
- The SEO menu sets most of your sites Search Engine Optimization settings. BE CAREFUL WITH THESE SETTINGS! If you do not know exactly what these settings do it is reccomended that you leave them at their defaults or you could be removed from the search engines completely! We reccomend doing some research on SEO and Search Engines before making any changes on this page.
- SEO Presets -
- These are pre-sets chosen for our system by various SEO Experts. When you click on one of their names it will choose all of their reccomended settings. If you choose one of these pre-sets, be sure to click Save at the bottom of the page to apply the settings.
- Main Page/Post List -
- These settings apply how you want search engine spiders to read your posts.
- Default Blog Page - When checked, this setting tells the spiders NOT to index your home page.
- "Next" Blog Pages - This setting tells the spiders NOT to index all blog pages after your home page. (Page 2, 3, 4, etc.)
- Post Titles - Select if you want the title of your blog posts to be links. You can choose to link the titles to the post, the URL location input in the "Link to URL" field in the Post Editor, or choose to have the title be plain text with no link.
- Permalinks - This option chooses how the post permalinks are linked. You can choose to have them link to a single post, a post located in the archives, or a post located in a sub-category.
- These settings apply how you want search engine spiders to read your posts.
- Single Post Pages/Permalink Pages -
- These select how the permalinks are structured in the URL when the permalink is linking to a single post.
- By Date Archives -
- Here you can choose how your blog archive is structured and accessed -
- Date Archive URLs - Allows you to choose how the URL is structured for the archives. You can choose to link by Category ID, Sub-Category, or full Category path.
- Indexing - When this box is checked the search engine spiders will not index your blog archives
- Follow To - When checked this will prevent the spiders from following links to your archived articles
- Posts per Page - This will set the maximum number of posts that are displayed on your archive pages. The reccomended minumum number to display is five (5)
- Category Directory - When checked this will prevent the spiders from following the links inside of your categories menu
- Here you can choose how your blog archive is structured and accessed -
- Category Pages -
- Here you can choose the settings for your blog categories
- Category URLs - Choose how you want the URL to be structured for your category links. You can choose to set them up to link by param, extra-path, or category path.
- Indexing - When checked this will prevent search engine spiders from indexing your category pages
- Posts per Page - This will set the number of posts that are displayed on your category pages. The reccomended minimum number to display is five (5)
- Category Directory - When checked this will prevent search engine spiders from indexing your categories

- This section controles the SEO for the pages that people have "Tagged"

- Post/Days per Page - This sets the default number of posts to display per page. The reccomended minimum is five (5)

- Other Pages -
- This controls the SEO for all other pages that do not fit in to any of the above categories
- Other Filtered Post Pages - When checked this will prevent spiders from indexing these post pages
- Comment Popups - When checked this will prevent spiders from indexing your comment popups
- Contact Forms - When checked this will prevent spiders from indexing your Contact and other custom forms
- Other Special Pages - When checked this will prevent spiders from indexing your User Profile page and other special pages in your blog
- This controls the SEO for all other pages that do not fit in to any of the above categories

- URLs
- This menu selection allows you to format how your blog URLs are formatted -
- Date Archive URLs - You can choose to format your date archive URLs using either a param or an extra-path
- Category URLs -
- Category URLs can be formatted to use the Category ID, Sub-Category or the Category Path
- Single Post URLs -
- Here you can select how the URLs are formatted for the links to single posts
- This menu selection allows you to format how your blog URLs are formatted -
- Categories
- Here is where you will find the information for all of the Categories in your blog. They are listed showing the Category Name, Page Title and the Number of Posts in the Category. There are options here to edit your existing categories or to create new categories. To get detailed information on creating and editing categories, see the Adding Content Tutorial.
- Widgets
- This is where you can add, remove and edit widgets. All of the available widget containers within your blog are listed here. If you have widgets installed in any of the containers they will be listed here. For a detailed tutorial on the widgets functionality follow this link.
- Profile Fields
- The Profile Fields menu item lists the areas that display your profile information. It is broken down into four (4) sections and you can add custom fields to each. For example, if you want to add a Phone Number field to your Contact Info you can do that from here. After adding a new custom field you will see the new field appear in the My Profile menu page. - Form Generator
- The Form Generator is a powerful tool that allows you to create custom forms for your readers to fill out. You can create contact forms, CMA forms or any other form you can think up. The information is stored in your Administrator Backend and can be submitted to you via email if you so choose. For detailed information on the Form Generator follow this link.
- Email
- This is where all of the emails are stored that are submitted via forms from your blog. This includes all custom forms you have created using the Form Generator. They are displayed by Email ID, Sender Name and Date Sent. Two action icons are available which are View Email and Delete Email.

- Logout
- Logs you off of your Administrator session. You will need to log in after clicking this to make further changes. For security it is advised that you log out at the end of each session. As added security the system will log you off after a preset period of inactivity.
